Kids Who Read, Succeed!
Our District-wide Read-A-Thon is coming to Highlands February 26 - March 9 through the San Mateo-Foster City Education Foundation! Elementary schools across our district will be reading and raising funds to preserve TK-5th grade Music programs in all our schools.
Families, get ready to show your support for reading! Read-a-Thon is a fun, equitable fundraiser that every child can participate in, regardless of their reading level. Family members can read to their little ones or be read to, to foster their children's love of reading. Read-on, Readers!
Please look out for more information in February in your Thursday Envelope and the Bear Bytes. Thank you for your support of the SMFC Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Check us out at www.smfcedfund.org.
LOCAL BUSINESS EXPO
Our first ever Highlands Business Expo is around the corner. Come check out over 30 premium local vendors and sip, shop and support our school!
We have collected 5100 BoxTops so far this year. If we can bring in 4900 more BoxTops we will have raised $1000 for our school. This is an easy and no cost way to bring in funding for our school. Turn in your BoxTops to your class or front office and let’s reach our goal of 10,000.
