With support from the fabulous 2nd grade teacher team, parents, and PTA, the Science in Action! Science Day on Balance and Motion was a huge success! All of the 2nd grade students were scientists/engineers for a day as they observed and built different objects that moved and balanced. They were able to build marble roller coasters, explore how contraptions with wheels and axles and cups roll, and take home their own mobile! Much fun and lots of WHOAs were had by all. Thank you to our awesome Highlands community for making an event like this possible.
Read-a-Thon Has Raised Over $60,000!
