Parents - Like to dress up? We need YOU!
Looking for: an Indiana Jones (male or female) The June 6th Science Family Fun Night 2.0 will feature a super cool fossil dig. We were hoping to have a real life "archaeologist" for the kids to talk to. If you or someone you know would like to dress up and play this role of a life time please let Rachael Webster (email@example.com) know as soon as possible. Thanks!
UPDATES & VOLUNTEERING
Project Wee Care’s last collection of the school year will be taking place May 10th -May 24th! Highlands Elementary has continued being great contributors to the needs of our community throughout the school year!
Let’s make this final collection for this school year our grand finale by bringing baking items to the blue Samaritan House bins placed around campus.
If you are able please bring baking items including - baking mixes: cake, brownies, muffins, biscuits and/or pancake.
Thank you for your continued support of Project Wee Care and those in our community who are less fortunate!
Thanks to the amazing generosity of the community, the Highlands PTA was able to bring the Dinosaurs ROCK! assembly to Highlands. Kids at every grade level were entranced by huge dinosaur teeth, footprints, bones, and claws. The kids were able to touch a real fossil Hadrosaur egg and even real fossilized dino POOP! After the entertaining and informative assembly, each kid was able to go on their own fossil dig and find 3 fossils to take home. Dinosaurs ROCK!
