Join Cub Scouts

Highlands Cub Scouts Pack 3 is excited to kick off another incredible year of adventure, learning, and unforgettable experiences, and we want your family to be a part of it!
Cub Scouts encourages boys and girls to make friends, be helpful to others, and do their very best no matter the outcome. With the help of powerful learning projects and exciting outdoor activities, kids learn that doing their best can be a fun and rewarding experience—no matter the difficulty of the challenge.
Cub Scouts provides safe, ready-made opportunities to build stronger connections for the entire family as parents and siblings are welcome to join in the fun. This year’s activities include

After-school chess is back!

Enroll in Fall 2024 Chess class at Highlands Elementary School! Chess classes are held by an expert coach. Students will focus on the basics of sportsmanship, game, rules, movement, checkmate, strategy, and tactics. Fee includes a Ribbon award at last class.
For: Grades K to 5th
Dates: Fridays, August 30 – November 15, 2024
Time: 3:00 – 4:00pm

Scientific Minds of America (SMOA) is a 501(c)(3) nationwide nonprofit organization entirely founded, led and operated by high school and college students. To help ease pandemic-induced educational difficulties and in order to solve educational inequity, we developed a completely free, online, tutoring program for K-8 students, tutored by our dedicated high school tutors. We offer personalized one-on-one tutoring in Math, English, Science, and History and we are flexible with timings. With help from our community leaders, we have served over 500 students and we hope to serve your community as well.
